Nationwide has appointed Kujtim Ramadani as Chief Data Officer for its Property & Casualty (P&C) business. Ramadani joins the insurance leader from Farmers Insurance, where he served as Head of Data & Analytics. Bringing over two decades of financial services experience from Zurich North America, he will leverage his background in cloud capabilities, digitalization, and advanced analytics to oversee Nationwide’s P&C data landscape.

CDO Magazine is pleased to welcome Tamar Shapiro, Chief Data and Analytics Officer at MetLife, to our Global Board. Shapiro leads MetLife’s global enterprise data and AI strategy. A prominent advocate for women in technology, she previously served as a Partner at private equity firm TZP Group and led high-performing data teams as the Head of Analytics at Instagram and Foursquare.

Humana has named Bhagyesh Phanse as Senior Vice President and Chief Data and Analytics Officer. Phanse transitioned to the healthcare company from Starbucks, where he served in the same capacity. With nearly 20 years of experience across CVS Health and Macy’s, Phanse will lead Humana’s technology modernization and scale data-driven innovations to improve healthcare outcomes through human-centric AI design.

McDonald’s has tapped Stefania Gvillo to helm its Global Insights & Analytics team. Gvillo joins the fast-food giant from Domino’s, where she was the Global Chief Analytics and Insights Officer and was instrumental in shaping the brand’s growth strategies. At McDonald’s, she will use her extensive CPG insights background from Mondelēz and PepsiCo to steward the consumer strategy for approximately 70 million daily customers.

CDO Magazine is thrilled to welcome Andres Vives, Chief Data Officer at Visa, to our Global Board. Vives is responsible for scaling Visa’s massive data and AI assets to unlock value for banks, merchants, and governments worldwide. With 25 years of domain experience, his background includes serving as Enterprise CDAO at TD Bank and CDAO for CitiBanamex in Mexico.

Ahold Delhaize USA has appointed Dr. Vipin Gopal as Senior Vice President and Chief Data and AI Officer. Dr. Gopal, a CDO Magazine Global Board member, brings over 25 years of transformation experience from Eli Lilly, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Humana. In his new role, he will establish a centralized data center of excellence and embed responsible AI capabilities across the company’s grocery retail brands.
