The White House announced new initiatives to expand artificial intelligence (AI) education and training across the U.S., with support from business, non-profit, and education leaders.

Organizations like Google, HP, Zoom, OpenAI, IBM, Code.org, NVIDIA, Mastercard, Dell Technologies, Pearson Education, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Adobe, xAI, Anthropic, Siemens, Palo Alto Network, Qualcomm, Arm and Salesforce, among others have committed to providing resources for AI education among America’s youth.

Each company has pledged and committed resources, programs, and partnerships to expand AI education — empowering students, training teachers, and equipping schools with the tools needed to build the skills required for success in an AI-driven future.

For instance, Google pledged $1 billion to support U.S. education and job training, offering all high schools free access to Gemini for Education, expanding its AI Accelerator to 200 colleges, and committing $150 million in grants, including $3 million to Code.org, to advance AI education and digital wellbeing.

“As AI reshapes how people learn, work, and communicate, the Trump Administration is committed to ensuring that Americans are equipped to lead the world in harnessing this technology. Today we announce new steps in fulfilling this mission as we welcome leaders in business, non-profits, and education who are putting America’s future first and pledging to provide free AI training and resources to students, teachers, and parents across the country,” Michael Kratsios, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and Chair of the White House Task Force on AI Education, said.

In April last year, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order establishing the task force to drive public-private partnerships in AI education. The initiative will focus on providing K-12 students with resources to build skills for the AI-powered workforce.
