Sridher Arumugham, DigiKey VP – Data Platform and Advanced Analytics, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Sridher Arumugham to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Arumugham is VP - Data Platform and Advanced Analytics at DigiKey. He is a dynamic and influential enterprise data and analytics leader, advisor, and coach who excels at aligning strategic initiatives with scalable strategies, governance, and architecture, ensuring precision execution with clear outcomes for over 25 years.

With a proven history, Arumugham has built enterprise data organizations from the ground up, establishing robust frameworks encompassing people, processes, and technology to create trusted source data products aligning outcomes with corporate priorities. He has overseen multi-year roadmaps exceeding US$ 100 million, managing teams of over two hundred individuals across the globe.

Since joining DigiKey in July 2023, Arumugham has been spearheading the accelerating data centric transformation initiatives in alignment with corporate strategy and has employed a data monetization strategy with democratization of key decision making to align with business outcomes, adopting world class architecture best practices including AI / ML features guided by governance and ethics to build trust and value at a lower total cost ownership.

Prior to his tenure at DigiKey, Arumugham held several leadership roles, including CDO at a health care payer; Chief of Staff building Enterprise Data Analytics organizations with people, process, technology and operating model for a financial insurance company; strategic advisory for data strategy and governance for various consulting organizations covering various business functions, including health care life sciences, finance, banking, insurance, utilities, field service, manufacturing and distribution.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Arumugham actively engages in volunteer roles such as co-chair of the CDO governing body and volunteer data analytics leader for a non-profit data driven journalism.

Arumugham has published several articles to the data and analytics community and has conducted various executive roundtable sessions. He is committed to mentorship within the professional community, continuously seeking opportunities to gain experience and contribute to society's advancement.
