CDO Magazine Summit Draws Global Data & Analytics Experts to Cincinnati

The annual CDO Magazine Summit gathered a standing room only crowd of leading global data and analytics executives  in Cincinnati, Ohio, September 12. It was the opening event in CDO Magazine’s Data & Security Week North America that includes the Data & Security Boardroom Event on September 13, and the Cybersecurity Midwest Summit on September 14.

The one-day CDO Magazine Summit is designed to champion CDOs and senior data & analytics executives from enterprise and mid-market companies and organizations. The summit featured more than 100 industry experts speaking in 30 breakout sessions and three keynote presentations, making it a hallmark event for data thought leadership. The CDO Magazine Data & Security Week North America events are produced by CDO Magazine.

Topics included generative AI and its impact on the enterprise, the transformation of the CDO and data leader roles, data enablement approach to data governance, data democratization, leveraging data mesh and data fabric, data privacy, and data ROI.

The summit concluded with Eileen Vidrine, Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer at the U.S. Department of the Air Force, receiving the 2023 CDO Magazine Global Executive of the Year award for her exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence. She thanked everyone in the community for their support and especially called out her extraordinary team, the “deep bench” she says she has been building.
