Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the Department’s Chief Data and AI Officer (CDAO) Matthew Graviss recently unveiled a new online AI resource hub at the agency.

“I’m also very pleased that we’re launching AI.State, a central hub for all things AI at the department.  It offers formal and informal training, including already videos that are up there to help folks get started.  It’s a home for all of our internal State Department AI tools – libraries of prompts and use cases,” Blinken said during a keynote address at the State Department’s morning meeting.

In April, Kelly Fletcher, State’s Chief Information Officer revealed that the State Department is introducing an internal chatbot, primarily in response to employee requests for assistance in streamlining processes such as translation.

During the morning meeting, Blinken also talked about their internal chatbot called StateChat.
