Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has awarded a contract worth $19 million to Palantir Technologies to support the agency’s mission to accelerate better health outcomes. The contract is for two years.

Palantir’s AIP and Foundry software will support the agency in optimizing workflows by establishing a robust data strategy and infrastructure. This foundation will enhance operational efficiency and facilitate ongoing enhancements.

"At ARPA-H, we are pioneering a data-centric approach to transform business efficiency and accelerate program design. Our focus is on data and harnessing the power of AI to rapidly develop new insights that not only will streamline our operations, but also drive better outcomes for all stakeholders involved in the ARPA-H mission. We strongly believe that harnessing the power of data and AI is the key to unlocking unprecedented levels of efficiency, productivity, and overall success while enabling us to focus on the research best able to impact the lives of real people,” said Alastair Thomson, Director of Data Innovation, ARPA-H.

By investing in an enterprise data strategy, the organization establishes a feedback loop that accelerates innovation. This approach empowers ARPA-H to track outcomes, learn continuously, and achieve ambitious goals, ensuring accountability to both the Government and the public.

Palantir will provide the data infrastructure for ARPA-H's essential operations, enabling swift collection, synthesis, analysis, and decision-making across diverse data sources. Stringent security and privacy controls will ensure compliance with rigorous standards.

“ARPA-H is an incredible investment in the next generation of life-changing healthcare outcomes.
