(US and Canada) Tom Gottlieb has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Fifth Third Bank, leaving his previous position as Chief Data Officer which he held for two and a half years. This comes after GE (General Electric), beginning in the Information Management Leadership Program, and eventually becoming Chief Data Officer and then Chief Product Owner for Digital Technology. In his new position at Fifth Third, Tom will likely be continuing the optimization of data digestion with new technology that he began in his prior roles, bringing Fifth Third further into the limelight as a staple of the data and analytics sector.
