Brides throughout Greater Cincinnati have trusted the BonBonerie to create gorgeous wedding cakes for their big day for more than three decades. And those cakes are more than just beautiful centerpieces – they taste as good as they look.
Co-owners Sharon Butler and Mary Pat Pace were at the forefront of an industry trend to design cakes that were both scrumptious and exquisite, eliminating the need for a separate dessert course.
"We want to make cakes that would be crafted well – not just one for display," Butler said. "Brides who work with us are going to get a cake that’s beautiful and delicious."
The BonBonerie has won awards from multiple city publications for its array of products and customer service, and its chefs have more than 80 years of experience creating mouth-watering original and traditional recipes for cakes, cupcakes, French macarons, petit fours and cookies.
Since its inception in 1983, the BonBonerie and its wedding consultation staff have developed great relationships with other wedding vendors, coordinating regularly with florists and venues for cake decoration and safe and timely cake and dessert delivery, setup and display.
The shop’s Café and Tearoom is a popular spot for private parties and events such as bridal showers or afternoon teas.
"Our reputation has been one reason we’ve stayed in business so long," Butler says. "We’ve kept our commitment to quality for so many years."
The BonBonerie is located at 2030 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45208. For more information, call 513.321.3399 or visit bonbonerie.com. Cake and dessert tastings can be scheduled by emailing bonbonerie.wedding@gmail.com.
