Christa and Eddie met during spring break six years ago in Panama City Beach, Florida. That encounter led to two years of long-distance dating while they pursued undergraduate and graduate degrees in Indiana and Pennsylvania. They met in the middle when Christa began working in Cincinnati and Eddie attended law school at Northern Kentucky University. Eddie proposed at Christmas two years later, and the couple began preparing for their future as he studied for the bar exam a week before their wedding at St. Xavier Church in downtown Cincinnati. For the August 6 wedding and reception, Christa wanted a classic, time-honored experience. "People try often to be trendy, but I say there’s nothing wrong with a classy, traditional wedding." She did add her signature style to the design and décor, applying touches of sparkles to her wedding stationery, and on the cake topper, floral arrangements, napkin rings, hurricane candle centerpieces and runners on the two-tiered head table at their reception at The Center. "It was the most perfect day," Christa says. "The weather was perfect, the wind blew my veil just the right way and all of our vendors came through. I was on an adrenaline high the entire day. We had so much fun."
