Yorck Einhaus, Liberty Mutual Insurance Global Chief Data Officer - Global Risk Solutions, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Yorck Einhaus to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Einhaus is Global Chief Data Officer - Global Risk Solutions at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he plays an integral role in creating and implementing successful data strategies in close partnership with technology and business leaders through both global and local data reporting and analysis accountability.

He is dedicated to advancing four key data missions: establishing a single source of truth, implementing a team-of-teams operating model, fostering data governance, and driving accountability for business value.

Prior to joining Liberty Mutual Insurance, Einhaus served as the Chief Data Officer at the Farmers Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group. In this capacity, he led the Enterprise Data Organization, overseeing crucial areas including data strategy and transformation, data governance, data management, data science, business intelligence, and data analytics.

In a previous role, Einhaus held the position of Head of the Office of the CIO (OCIO), where he led a diverse global team across various responsibilities, including Innovation and Experience Lab (iLab & xLab), Strategic Initiatives, Competitive Research and Benchmarking, Enterprise IT Program Management Office, Enterprise Architecture, Supplier Management, Quality Assurance Center of Excellence, and Corporate Services IT.

Einhaus’ global career and military service in the Austrian Armed Forces is the foundation for what he brings to organizations — a calm, pragmatic, thoughtful, and innovative approach to strategy, operations, and technology.
