TE Connectivity Appoints Elena Alikhachkina as CDO

(US and Canada) Global industrial technology company TE Connectivity has appointed Elena Alikhachkina, PhD as Chief Data Officer. A proven data leader, Alikhachkina brings over 20 years of experience in leading global enterprise digital and data strategy, technology platforms, change management, and operations.

With her extensive background in commercial and technology sectors, Alikhachkina has demonstrated a remarkable ability to develop business strategies that inspire organizations to embrace new perspectives and leverage data-driven insights.

Prior to joining TE Connectivity, Alikhachkina served as Global Head of DCE and Insights at Roche, where she led transformational enterprise digital and data strategy, technology platforms, change management, and operations. She contributed significantly to the development of over 200 enterprise digital products driven by data, resulting in a twentyfold growth. She was an early adopter of behavior-targeting technology, leading to a threefold increase in advertising profits compared to other publishers.

During her tenure at J&J, Alikhachkina spearheaded the vision and implementation of a pioneering global digital data platform. This platform was designed to expedite the creation of innovative customer experiences and business opportunities, ultimately shaping and providing competitive advantages for the company.

Apart from her roles at work, Alikhachkina is a recognized thought leader in the areas of big data, customer experience, AI, and data-driven business innovation. She is an executive member of the MIT iCDO Symposium committee, a product board member with leading digital providers, and an adjunct professor with the first CDO class offering in the world. She was recognized by CDO Magazine as one of the Global Data Power Women from 2020 to 2023 and listed in the Data IQ 100 for 2022. 

Alikhachkina holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The Academy of National Economy in Moscow, and an M.S. in Software Engineering from The National Research University of Electronic Technology. She has completed the Executive Education program at Wharton Business School and the CDO certification program with MIT/iCDO. She also holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing her contributions to the field of data.
