(US and Canada) Leading global issuer-processor Paymentology has appointed Jim Hart as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With over 25 years of experience in IT security, Hart is known for leading large-scale security transformation projects and advising both scale-ups and large enterprises on cybersecurity strategies. His expertise includes defining and implementing security strategies to protect businesses from a wide range of cyber threats. He has worked extensively in complex hybrid and cloud environments, with experience across banking, fintech, services, and manufacturing industries.
Before joining Paymentology, Hart was Group CISO at GENII Software Group, where he led security initiatives across more than 100 legal entities and 3,000 employees. He was responsible for aligning cybersecurity efforts while enhancing risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance. His previous roles include senior positions at Pollinate International, CyberProof, AlixPartners, Symantec, and Integralis.
