Patrick Chew, AIT Worldwide Logistics Global Head of Data Enablement, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Patrick Chew to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Chew is Global Head of Data Enablement at AIT Worldwide Logistics. In his current role, he is responsible for building and enabling data stewardship capabilities to capitalize on data insight and achieve value outcomes empowered by practical data strategies, data governance practices, and required AI governance.

He harnesses AI technologies to support AIT’s aggressive growth as America’s top leader in global freight forwarder and logistic supply chain across aerospace, automotive, consumer retail, food, government, healthcare, high-tech, industrial, and life science landscape throughout Asia, Europe, India, and North America.

Chew previously served as Head of the Enterprise Data Governance Office at Caterpillar, Inc., and prior to that he served as Head COE of Global Data Governance and Management at Kellogg Company. He has a proven track record of effectively leading and managing initiatives and engagements. He demonstrates remarkable abilities in leading and influencing teams, peers, and co-workers. Chew works closely with client partners on the architecture of plans, helping to identify and develop follow-on business opportunities.

Additionally, Chew possesses deep and up-to-date technical expertise and knowledge in the areas of data strategy, digital transformation, and analytics, including blockchain, big data BI, data intelligence, data governance, data warehousing, MDM, OLAP, and visualization. He has a strong focus on demonstrating the value of adopting a data-driven approach, enabling businesses to derive insights from data and transform them into actionable insights.
