(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome John Tucker to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Tucker is Director of Data Governance at McDonald’s where he is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical solutions that mitigate risks and build organizational capability.

Before joining McDonald’s, Tucker worked at Workday where he led the Data Governance team. Prior to this, he served as Data Governance Enablement and  Delivery Lead at General Motors.

Tucker is an experienced leader in data governance and data management, known for his exceptional communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving acumen. He has successfully led the delivery of both strategic and tactical solutions that mitigate risks and enhance organizational capability through data governance and quality systems.

As a professional, Tucker brings more than 10 years of experience in Sales and Management, spanning sectors such as big-box retail, banking/mortgage products, and technology. He has spearheaded multi-million dollar projects, including building new data warehouses and monetizing data. His in-depth knowledge of architecture, standards, controls, metrics, issue management, and resolution has significantly increased organizational capabilities and directly contributed to business success.
