David is Vice President - Data and AI for Enterprise at CNA Financial, a leading commercial insurance company with a 120-year history. In this role, he leads the engineering organization in the development of cutting-edge data and AI platforms and applications for the enterprise.

Prior to joining CNA, David held the position of Chief AI Officer for Taikang Online, an insurtech company within a Fortune Global 500 conglomerate. He was responsible for leading the AI lab and big data department, reporting directly to the CEO. The organization built AI and data solutions that empowered the value chain of online insurance.

Before entering the insurance industry, David gained experience as a technology leader in big-tech companies such as Amazon and Microsoft. At Amazon, he led engineering teams in developing speech recognition capabilities for Alexa, Amazon's flagship AI product. At Microsoft, he focused on data and led the development of big data platforms for Windows.

David holds a master's and a bachelor's degree in computer science and is also a graduate of the Executive Education program from the Harvard Business School.
