Tina Salvage, Apex Group Senior Director – Global Head of Data
(US and Canada) Leading global financial services provider Apex Group has appointed Tina Salvage as Senior Director – Global Head of Data. Based in a global hybrid role, Salvage brings a decade of leadership in data governance, strategy, and analytics to the firm, with experience spanning financial services, social impact organizations, and regulatory data compliance.
In her new role, Salvage will lead Apex Group’s global data governance and strategy efforts, driving trusted and responsible use of data at scale. She will be focused on unlocking the value of data across the organization’s international footprint, which includes more than 30,000 colleagues worldwide.
“This opportunity was borne out of a personal recommendation,” Salvage shared in a LinkedIn post announcing the move. “I’ll be shaping how we unlock, protect, and drive value from data across a truly international organisation. Apex offers an incredible platform to embed data-driven thinking in everything we do.”
Salvage also holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing her contributions to the field of data.
Prior to joining Apex Group, Salvage served as Data Management Lead at Bupa Head Office, where she developed and implemented enterprise-wide data strategies. Her previous experience also includes serving as Head of Data Strategy and Chief Data Officer at STOP THE TRAFFIK Global, where she led data-driven efforts at the intersection of human trafficking, money laundering, and predictive AI. Before that, she held multiple leadership roles at HSBC over nearly 18 years, including Global Head of Data Governance for Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets.
Salvage is certified in DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) and CDMC (Cloud Data Management Capabilities) through the EDM Council, and continues to apply these frameworks to support scalable and ethical data practices.
