Ajay Anand, Johnson & Johnson SVP, Global Services, Strategy and Business Services, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Ajay Anand to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Anand is SVP, Global Services, Strategy and Business Services at Johnson & Johnson. He is responsible for the Global Services (GS) Strategy and Business Services team.

The team encompasses GS Commercial and GS Enterprise Business pillars; strategic planning; industry trends and disruptions; driving large enterprise-wide transformations; service excellence; end-to-end data management, data sciences, reporting and analytics; digital experience; developing and scaling enterprise capabilities; project and portfolio management; acquisitions and divestitures; competitive analysis and benchmarking; intelligent automation; and strengthening change management, communication, and training framework to integrate new ways of working.

As a leader in Global Services, Ajay co-chairs the J&J Enterprise Intelligent Automation Council and the Data Management Council. Through various transformations, he and his team have delivered over US$3 billion in value creation and improved J&J’s ability to respond to business changes through a focus on employee experience, functional excellence, and efficiency across global functions.

Ajay has 25+ years of experience across global and cross-functional leadership roles within J&J, including large organizations focused on digital business and technology strategy within Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Devices businesses.

Ajay holds two master’s degrees – one in business administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia and the other in computer science from Gujarat University in India. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters.
