Accenture Federal Services Appoints Denise Zheng as Chief AI Officer

(US and Canada) Accenture Federal Services has recently named Denise Zheng as its inaugural Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. In her newly established role, Zheng will oversee five key AI focus areas and offer support to public sector clients in implementing AI technologies. She will lead efforts to develop innovative AI tools, establish ethical AI frameworks, and build a robust AI team tailored to the unique needs of government agencies.

Zheng brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously served as the Head of Global Generative AI and Ecosystem Partnerships at Accenture. Prior to joining the company, she held leadership positions at Business Roundtable and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

John Goodman, CEO of Accenture Federal Services and a recipient of the 2024 Wash100 award, expressed his excitement about Zheng's appointment.
