(US and Canada) Ipsos, one of the largest global market research and polling companies, recently announced that Michelle Vangel has been appointed as Senior Vice President and head of its Social Intelligence Analytics + Synthesio practice in North America.
Vangel, an accomplished executive and passionate "insights evangelist" with a background in traditional and social media research, has built and led high-performing teams and advised top Fortune 500 clients across her two-decade career.
She will oversee the alignment of Synthesio, Ipsos’ pioneering consumer intelligence platform, with Social Intelligence Analytics, Ipsos’ market-leading social intelligence and analytics practice. This service line will harness best-in-class technologies, proven research frameworks, and savvy analysts to deliver insights that drive business impact.

A skilled researcher and storyteller, Vangel most recently served as global VP of Solution Strategy at Brandwatch. She led a consultant team in designing research solutions mapped to client business objectives. Earlier roles include senior leadership positions at SaaS companies Visible Technologies and Cision. Throughout her career, Vangel has participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions.
