Top data, analytics, and AI executives dug into one of the biggest shifts in enterprise AI at the CDO Magazine San Jose Executive Boardroom Dinner on March 20 — the rise of graph databases. With AI infrastructure evolving to handle increasingly complex data patterns, the conversation zeroed in on why graph technology is gaining traction — especially in fraud detection and AI model explainability.
Leading the discussion was TigerGraph CEO Rajeev Shrivastava, who guided executives through key questions on rethinking their data strategies. From the advantages of graph databases over traditional relational systems to measuring ROI and ensuring AI transparency, the event was packed with insights on building AI that’s not just powerful, but also explainable and effective in real-world scenarios.

Moderator Shrivastava sums up the event saying: “The event was exceptional! Thank you to CDO Magazine for bringing together elite data leaders from across the Bay Area. We were able to connect with experts from diverse industries, and discuss shared data challenges and how they are overcoming them. There were a number of valuable discussions on the topics of fraud prevention, recommendation engines, digital twins, AI/ML, and GNN which I think lead to some excellent insights and perspectives. What made the gathering truly remarkable was the candid exchange of use cases and the innovative graph database solutions that are driving tangible value for these leading companies.”
