CDO Magazine Dinner Captures Collaborative Spirit of Columbus Community

CDO Magazine's Columbus Executive Community Dinner at the Columbus Crew stadium June 6 brought together the city's top leaders from the data, analytics, tech, and security sectors. The event offered an opportunity for participating executives to network, share insights, and foster new collaborations.

Tom Marlow, Liberty Mutual Global Data & Analytics Executive, and CDO Magazine Columbus Community Co-Chair, expresses the spirit shared by many: “I’m always humbled by the exceptional group of data experts brought together by the leadership of CDO Magazine within the thriving tech community of Columbus.”

Summing up the event in one word Todd Henley, Northwest Bank Chief Data Governance and Privacy Officer mentions “opportunity.” “Where else can you tap into such a wealth of experience and perspective from across every industry all in one place?!” Henley says. “The quality and depth of conversation is a hallmark of these events. Reflecting on the event, Brett Hudspeth, Humana VP, Segment CIO, Clinical & Interoperability, describes it in real time: “It's been a great night here at the Columbus Crew stadium. It's great to see such a collection of local IT leaders and folks who've also come in from other regional cities. It really just shows that we have a vibrant technology community here in Columbus that's very passionate about data. I’m just excited to be a part of it.”

For Tim Cunningham, Grange Insurance EVP, Chief Information Officer, the evening was a unique opportunity to network with data and analytics leaders and learn about their priorities. “The Central Ohio data community is active, connected, and thriving! I enjoyed touring the Lower.com facility and seeing the MLS Cup Trophy up close. I want to thank CDO Magazine and the sponsors for hosting this fabulous event.”
