At its exclusive Executive Boardroom Dinner held at Mignon on April 23, CDO Magazine hosted Dallas’ leading data, analytics, and AI executives for an evening of meaningful dialogue and collaboration centered on the theme “Navigating the Data & AI Trust Paradox.”

Leaders examined the widening “trust paradox,” where organizational confidence in data and AI often exceeds actual readiness—placing increased pressure on CDOs to demonstrate tangible ROI. The conversation highlighted the need to strengthen data reliability, improve literacy, and reinforce governance frameworks, while also tackling challenges such as vendor sprawl, the rise of unstructured data, and shifting regulatory demands.

The panel of experts were:

  • Shuchi Agrawal, SMBC Group Head, AI Execution
  • Michelle Boston, Bank of America Chief Information Officer
  • Saba Dossani, former Comerica Bank Chief Data & Analytics Officer

The panel discussion was moderated by Amy Horowitz, Informatica from Salesforce AVP, AMER Solution Sales.

Sharing her experience, speaker Dossani, says, “Gatherings like the one we had tonight, where leaders can have real and honest conversations, are important as they help leaders cut through the hype and focus on what drives the results. The discussions reinforced that trusted data and clear accountability are key to practical adoption of AI use cases.”

According to panelist Agrawal, “We covered a lot on AI, but the core themes were simple: get the data right, be clear on the use case, and stay grounded in the realities of a shifting regulatory environment. Knowing where to apply AI and where to pause will define success. Loved the exchange of ideas and perspectives.”

Jenna George, CDO Magazine Community Director, sums it up, “Our Executive Boardroom Dinner in Dallas was highlighted by an all-female panel discussing the AI Trust Paradox and balancing the hype of hyper-fast execution and long-term success.”

Special thanks to Informatica from Salesforce for making the CDO Magazine Dallas Executive Boardroom Dinner such a resounding success.
