LinkedIn has introduced Hiring Assistant, its first AI agent designed to automate recruiters’ repetitive tasks, enabling them to spend more time on advising hiring managers, connecting with candidates, and creating exceptional candidate experiences.
The “assistant” is accessible to recruiters and is also made available in charter to a select group of LinkedIn customers, including AMS, Canva, Siemens, and Zurich Insurance.
In addition, LinkedIn will be expanding its AI-powered coaching feature to help learners practice human skills through interactive scenarios using text or voice.
The Hiring Assistant is built with LinkedIn’s agentic technology and paired with its unique platform insights of over 1 billion members, 68 million companies, and 41,000 skills. It can also be leveraged by recruiters to identify past applicants in their Applicant Tracking System, via Recruiter System Connect.
Moreover, hirers will be in the loop and able to provide feedback on the candidates throughout the process. This would lead to better personalization of the Hiring Assistant as it would continuously learn from recruiters’ preferences.
