The U.S. Department of State is seeking commercial off-the-shelf AI/ML solutions with advanced large language model capabilities comparable to ChatGPT.
In a Request for Information posted on SAM.gov, the Department’s Bureau of Global Acquisitions (GA) enquired about a mature platform that includes integrated analytics and supports customizable AI/ML and LLM development.
It seeks an AI-driven solution that streamlines acquisition document creation, enhances consistency, supports all user levels with smart templates and integrates seamlessly with existing acquisition systems and workflows.
“The solution must provide a commercially proven base platform with an integrated suite of robust analytical tools and AI/ML capabilities that may be customized to meet specific Department of State requirements and use cases,” the post on SAM.gov reads.
It says the platform must enable AI-enhanced workflows for processing government data across classification levels and comply with Department of Defense Impact Level 6, FedRAMP Moderate to High authorization, and other federal security standards.
