U.S. Department of Commerce
The U.S. Department of Commerce has announced a call for proposals for the American AI Exports Program to accelerate the global deployment of U.S.-built artificial intelligence technology.
Starting April 1, 2026, U.S. companies can form industry-led consortia and submit proposals to deliver full-stack AI solutions to international markets. Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2026.
These proposals should be designed as integrated solutions for international markets, combining products or services across the full AI stack, including:
Proposals must also outline the consortium, detail the solution offering, identify target markets, and describe the business and operating model, along with any requested federal support and how the proposal advances U.S. national interests.
“The American AI Exports Program delivers on President Trump’s directive to ensure that American AI systems — built on trusted hardware, secure data, and world-leading innovation — are deployed at scale around the world. By promoting full-stack American solutions, we are strengthening our economic and national security, deepening ties with allies and partners, and ensuring that the future of AI is led by the United States,” said Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick.
