The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) will soon begin testing its digital “Concierge AI” platform internally, according to Steve Wallace, Director of Emerging Technology and Chief Technology Officer at DISA, Meritalk reported.

Earlier this year, DISA launched the pilot for Concierge AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) prototype designed to act as a digital concierge and enhance the capabilities of its workforce.

“We got permission to start testing it within the agency about a week ago. We’re working to get it opened up to the greater DISA team. So, we’re working on some internal things right now,” Wallace told reporters.

The tool’s functions will enhance DISA’s decision-making processes. The digital concierge will gather data from controlled unclassified information environments and input it into a database. With the assistance of large language models (LLMs), this database will then provide users with answers.
