Nino Letteriello, conference chair, welcomes participants and opens the Embrace Transformation conference.
(EMEA) The “Embrace Transformation” Conference 2023 has just concluded with the participation of around 1,200 data management experts from around the world in a novel hybrid format of in-person and remote sessions.
The in-person sessions were conducted on November 30 and December 1 in the city of Bologna, Italy. They saw over 50 panelists sharing the latest advancements in data management and data in general across multiple panel sessions.

The discussions revolved around artificial intelligence and other related topics such as data governance, organizational culture, data ethics, data for the common good, and more. It was also an opportunity to share experiences from various chapters of the Data Management Association which are gradually spreading worldwide to raise awareness about the importance of proper data management.
“We are here to learn; we need to share what we are learning,” said Nino Letteriello, Conference Chair and President of DAMA Italy, emphasizing the importance of events where experts from around the world come together to discuss practical topics related to daily work on data.
The conference underscored the importance of fostering a rich exchange of cultures and experiences as a guiding principle for advancing expertise in the intricate world of data management. A success that lays the groundwork for a larger and more complex conference in 2024.
