After meeting Xavier Avendano in high school, Danielle Sallee didn’t know he would come back into her life a year after graduation. But a mutual friend brought them together, and the rest was history. Until, of course, Danielle found herself standing at Fountain Square on New Year’s Eve, with Xavier asking her the most important question she would ever answer. 

From there, the happy couple began planning their wedding day. After a call to Creative Invites & Events, Stacy Shiring’s team took on the task of bringing together each detail. "They were so helpful," says Danielle. "I really didn’t even do anything." 

When the big day arrived, Danielle says the ceremony was just a beautiful blur, but one moment stood out. "My favorite moment was probably walking down the aisle and seeing everyone who came out to our wedding, and, of course, Xavier," she says.

The ceremony and event featured subtle, yet classic touches of Gatsby and Hollywood glamour, with birdcage veils incorporated into the stunning flower arrangements and reception centerpieces donning pearls. Family and friends looked on as the beautiful couple shared a first dance to the crooning sound of Lana Del Rey.
