A Passion for Personal Attention and Service

Nelson Castillo and his Prime Cincinnati team have created the ultimate dining experience that is classy yet comfortable, offering a spectacular selection of quality beef and fresh seafood, with a destination wine list in the making.

Looking for the perfect place for a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception or other special celebration? Sales Manager Elise Lemen and Executive Chef Shawn Heine are sure to make your event unforgettable, catering to your every need.

"The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic," says Ren Tusa, a self-proclaimed local foodie. "But what makes Prime Cincinnati truly the place for a memorable night out is the superb service and personal attention from everyone. Although it was a very busy Saturday night, the personal touches and attention made it seem that we were the only people in the restaurant."

A testament, perhaps, to the restaurant’s passion-to-serve mission statement.

Formerly known as Prime 47, the restaurant – located in the downtown art and wine district – was purchased last year by Castillo, with Tony Birkla and Bernie Bolt of Anderson Birkla Investment Partners, an Indianapolis-based real estate firm. The subsequent rebranding became official last fall, with a menu-and-interior makeover. As part of that rebranding, the restaurant walls feature works by local artists.

According to Heine, the Prime Cincinnati filet mignon is a house favorite, though his dry-aged ribeye or Kansas City strip streak are popular, too. Seafood – including swordfish, sushi-grade tuna and opah – is shipped fresh from Hawaii via next-day air. Heine heartily recommends the Spicy Crab Opah.

Prime Cincinnati has added close to 30 new levels to the wine list, resulting in bold pairings of the most distinctive wines available.

One doesn’t need a special occasion to enjoy Prime Cincinnati. The casual elegance and mouth-watering noon menu is perfectly suited to business lunches and informal get-togethers alike.

Prime Cincinnati is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; Saturday, 4-11 p.m.; and Sunday, 4-9 p.m. Happy hour is Monday through Friday, 4-7 p.m.

Prime Cincinnati is located at 580 Walnut Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202. For more information, call 513.579.0720, email elise.lemen@primecincy.com or visit www.primecincy.com.
