The Marriage School, Inc., a local Christian nonprofit organization, will hold their second annual Valentine’s Benefit Concerts in February, the first on February 15th at Sycamore Presbyterian Church in Symmes Township and the second on February 16th at Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Lebanon.
The concerts will feature soprano Rachel Sachs and pianist Daniel Sachs, who are also the Executive Directors of The Marriage School. Daniel Sachs is a Swiss pianist who earned his first degree in piano performance in Basel followed by studies in Paris, France and Lübeck, Germany. In 2005 he completed his Doctorate in Piano Performance at the College Conservatory of Music (University of Cincinnati), where he studied with Prof. James Tocco. He has performed extensively in Europe and the United States as soloist and collaborative pianist. Rachel (Tucker) Sachs is an American Soprano who holds degrees in vocal performance from the University of Arkansas and the University of North Texas. She began her professional career as a semi-finalist in the 1999 Metropolitan Opera Council Awards. Through the support of the American Berlin Opera Foundation, Rachel spent her first season as a soprano soloist (2000- 2001) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
The evenings are being presented by 9258 Wealth Management and will include engaging classical music and inspiring testimonies covering themes of romance, marriage and the unfailing love of God Himself. The Marriage School, Inc. is a non-profit organization that offers a 14-week practical, proven skills-based program called The Third Option, which helps couples build stronger, more fulfilling marriages. The program is set up as an educational group where attendees learn, encourage and support each other. Sessions are led by skilled facilitators as well as couples who have overcome serious challenges in their marriages. The Third Option program has helped to save or improve hundreds of marriages in the Tri-State area since its introduction in 1996.
