(US and Canada) Cameron Davies, Yum! Brands’ Chief Data Officer, speaks with Mitchell Roberts, Triple Blind’s Director of Product Marketing, about his admiration and love for destinations like the Greek islands, woods, and the mountains of Costa Rica. He shared how he vouches for these places for their beauty, animals, and greenery, which is the main reason behind his belief that Costa Rica is a fantastic place to retire.
Davis looks forward to meeting and engaging with peers at the Global CDAO Exchange, and also speaking with them in person about how they are dealing with so much of the digital acceleration. He enjoys interacting with his peers to learn how they are dealing with remote workers, bringing people back to the office in person, dealing with policies, and how digital acceleration has impacted their organization.
He enjoys keeping up with industry developments and learning from them. He discusses his participation in the upcoming “data fight club” and how compelled he feels in today’s environment to say these fight clubs are not physical altercations.
So, while this is not a flight club in the classic sense, the idea is to bring together two professionals for a fun discussion. Professionals take sides on various concepts and debate about industry topics with competing perspectives in a persuasive fashion, such as the concept of “dev ops” versus data engineering, or data scientists versus data engineers. He expresses his desire to engage with Disney’s Mark Schafer and looks forward to debates with him.
