Vikrant Saxena, Wellabe CDAO
(US and Canada) Wellabe, a provider of health and financial wellness solutions, has appointed Vikrant Saxena as Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO). Saxena is a seasoned data and analytics leader with over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.
“I’ll be leading data (strategy, management, engineering, governance, etc.) and analytics (business intelligence, AI, Gen AI, governance, etc.). My goal is to empower data-driven decisions that unlock new opportunities and optimize performance across the organization. Before joining Wellabe, Saxena served as SVP, Analytics Officer at Global Atlantic Financial Group, where he drove enterprise data strategies and fostered a data-driven culture. He also led cross-functional teams and established a high-performance Data Analytics Center of Excellence, enhancing operational efficiency, revenue growth, digital capabilities, and customer experience.
Saxena holds a Master’s degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s from the Indian Institute of Technology, along with an Executive Business Analytics certification from Wharton Business School. An advocate for value-driven analytics, Saxena is a member of executive committees, including the CDAO Governing Body and Data/AI Governance Councils, where he champions governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, responsible AI, and regulatory compliance. He is also recognized for mentoring and talent development.
He holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing his contributions to the field of data.
