Mano Mannoochahr, Verizon Chief Data, Analytics, and AI Officer
(US and Canada) Global telecom major Verizon has appointed Mano Mannoochahr as Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer. Mannoochahr leads a team of engineers and data, analytics, and AI professionals, driving initiatives to enhance AI adoption and maximize the potential of data within the organization.
Before joining Verizon, Mannoochahr served as Senior Vice President and Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Travelers, where he led the company’s Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics team. He was responsible for developing and executing Travelers’ data and analytics strategy, with a focus on risk analytics, customer experience, and operational efficiency. He also chaired the Enterprise Analytics Management Committee and was a member of the Travelers Operating Committee, overseeing the integration of data and analytics across business, technology, and finance functions.
Prior to his tenure at Travelers, Mannoochahr held leadership roles at General Electric, serving as CIO for GE Transportation, Chief Data & Innovation Officer, and CIO for GE Energy Connections. Earlier in his career, he was Global Director of Data, Analytics, and Strategy at John Deere.
With over 25 years of experience in technology across multiple industries, Mannoochahr has focused on leveraging AI and cloud computing to align business priorities with enterprise-scale capabilities. At Verizon, he is responsible for advancing data-driven decision-making, implementing AI-powered solutions, and optimizing business operations.
Under Mannoochahr’s leadership, Verizon is working to integrate AI across its operations, from industrial AI to intelligent automation, with the goal of improving customer experiences and business efficiency. The company aims to democratize data in a secure and responsible manner, ensuring that insights support strategic decision-making and long-term innovation.
Mannoochahr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
