(US and Canada) Valley Health has appointed Steve Motil as its Chief Data & Analytics Officer, a newly created role designed to enhance the organization’s ability to leverage data and technology for improved patient care, cost reduction, and innovation in healthcare delivery.

In this position, Motil will lead efforts to strengthen data-driven decision-making, advance data proficiency across teams, and integrate AI into future initiatives. He will oversee the Business, Clinical, and Enterprise Data Warehouse teams while serving as a member of the senior leadership team.

Motil brings extensive experience in data analytics and healthcare technology. Before joining Valley Health, he was Director of Data Analytics at Optum and spent 15 years at Kettering Health Network in analytics and medical technology roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University.

With expertise in leadership, business intelligence, data management, and change management, Motil is dedicated to driving organizational growth through strategic data initiatives. His appointment is expected to further Valley Health’s mission of delivering high-quality, data-driven healthcare solutions.
