Jock Padgett, US DOD DCDAO for Advanced C2 Acceleration

(US and Canada) The U.S. Department of Defense Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) has appointed Jock Padgett as DCDAO for Advanced C2 Acceleration. He joins from the U.S. Army XVIII Airborne Corps, where he served as the Chief Technology Officer.

Padgett is an experienced technology and data leader with a demonstrated history in the defense and healthcare Industries. He is skilled in innovation programs, strategic partnerships, technical solution design, IT strategy, IT operations management, and Mission Command/C2 Systems and Design.

Throughout his career, he has led several digital transformation programs, encompassing both people-focused and warfighting functions. His background includes operational roles and serving as a Department of Defense Highly Qualified Expert (HQE) through events in Afghanistan and Ukraine. His technical experience in delivering modern Command and Control (C2) capabilities to soldiers will be essential in advancing C2 capabilities and addressing key mission requirements.
