Sairah Ijaz, US Department of Housing and Urban Development CIO

(US and Canada) Sairah Ijaz has been named Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), a significant advancement in her accomplished career.

Prior to this role, Ijaz served as HUD’s Deputy Chief Information Officer and previously held the position of Assistant Chief Financial Officer for Systems, showcasing her expertise in technology and financial systems.

“This achievement reflects the incredible support from my team and colleagues, and I couldn’t have done it without you. As we move forward, I look forward to collaborating on innovative solutions, implementing forward-thinking strategies, and enhancing our Department’s security posture. Together, we can make a meaningful impact,” Ijaz shared in a LinkedIn post.

Her extensive experience and collaborative approach position HUD to address emerging challenges and create meaningful, lasting impacts under her leadership.
