University of Vermont Appoints Kellie Campbell as CIO

Kellie Campbell, University of Vermont CIO

(US and Canada) The University of Vermont (UVM) has named Dr. Kellie Campbell as Chief Information Officer. Campbell, an experienced academic IT leader, will oversee the university’s Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) division.

“Kellie brings energy and collaboration to UVM at a time of rapid technological change and critical IT initiatives,” said Interim President Patricia Prelock. “She will be an excellent partner and leader for the ETS team.”

Campbell previously served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology for the Vermont State Colleges System (VSCS). There, she led IT strategy and operations, launched the system’s first shared services organization, and supported the establishment of Vermont State University.

A Vermont native, Campbell holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from Northeastern University and degrees in business administration and management. She has extensive expertise in digital transformation, project management, and strategic planning.
