The University of New England (UNE) has selected Dawn G. Stoyanoff, Ph.D., as Chief Information Officer. Stoyanoff most recently served as Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Applications and Services at the University of Chicago, where she oversaw institution-wide enterprise systems strategy, cloud modernization, and AI- and automation-driven initiatives.

Her career includes leadership roles at the University of Arkansas, where she was Associate Vice Chancellor and CIO and implemented shared services that produced $3.5 million in annual savings, and at the University of Texas System, where she led system-wide shared information services and managed major ERP, business intelligence, and cybersecurity programs.

As CIO at UNE, Stoyanoff will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, data governance, and the expansion of cloud and analytics capabilities across the university.

“I am thrilled to join UNE at such an exciting time for the institution,” Stoyanoff said. “The University’s commitment to innovation and student success creates tremendous opportunities to leverage technology in meaningful ways.”
