United Overseas Bank Appoints Bryan Lee Managing Director, Group Head of Data

United Overseas Bank (UOB) has appointed Bryan Lee as Managing Director, Group Head of Data. In his new role, Lee will lead the modernization of the bank’s data ecosystem to enable trusted, scalable, and AI-ready capabilities while driving enterprise data strategy, governance, innovation, and data products to unlock business value and intelligent decision-making.

Lee previously served as the Managing Director of OCBC and Bank of Singapore. His background also includes serving as Chief Data & AI Officer at AXA, where he led large-scale AI, data transformation, governance, and analytics initiatives.

During his tenure at OCBC, Lee spearheaded the end-to-end rollout of the bank’s generative AI assistant to more than 30,000 employees, supporting key platforms such as HOLMES, SOWA AI, and Avatar Banking. As part of OCBC’s technology modernization efforts, he also implemented more than 300 technology and data initiatives across Group Wealth platforms.
