(US and Canada) American bank holding company Truist recently announced the appointment of Thomas Mazzaferro as its Chief Data and Analytics Officer.
Prior to joining Truist, Mazzaferro held the position of Chief Data Officer at Western Union, where he managed cutting-edge technology, data, and banking products across 200 countries, serving 150 million customers and operating through 600,000 retail agent locations.
He brings a wealth of experience, having previously held various roles at HSBC, including Head of Data & Analytics, Head of Retail Stress Testing, and the U.S. Chief Data Officer. Before his tenure at HSBC, Mazzaferro spent over a decade at JP Morgan Chase, where he held multiple roles, including business unit CFO, COO of Technology, and Executive Director of Credit Risk.
