Truist Financial Corporation has announced Pascal Belaud as Chief AI and Data Officer. Belaud joins the company after a long career at Microsoft and is now responsible for leading Truist’s enterprise strategy for AI, data, and advanced automation. He reports to Steve Hagerman, Truist’s Chief Information Officer.

Belaud has three decades of experience in the technology industry, including more than 25 years at Microsoft. He held a number of leadership positions in Microsoft’s US financial sector, across AI, data and data insights, customer success, analytics, cloud, machine learning, and predictive analysis.
