U.S.-based biopharmaceutical company Tris Pharma has announced the appointment of Brinda Banerjee as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Banerjee leads the company’s Information Technology department, overseeing IT infrastructure and business applications as Tris Pharma advances its digital and data capabilities.

Banerjee brings over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, with a background spanning global IT leadership and digital transformation. Prior to joining Tris, she held executive positions at Genmab, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Digital Products, where she was responsible for digital solutions supporting commercialization, medical affairs, and enterprise functions. She also served as Global Head of Digital Solutions & Analytics at Genmab, driving data platform development and technology strategy across R&D and commercial functions.

Earlier in her career, Banerjee held senior IT leadership roles at Biogen, Forest Laboratories, and Pfizer, focusing on strategic roadmapping, enterprise systems, and business transformation initiatives. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India.
