Bernie Miles, Tide Chief Data and Technology Officer
UK-based business management platform Tide has named Bernie Miles as Chief Data and Technology Officer, joining the company’s Executive Team and reporting to CEO Oliver Prill.
Miles brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience from global fintech and e-commerce companies. He joins from payments firm PPRO, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director since 2021, and previously held senior roles at Wayfair and Klarna.
In his new role, Miles will lead Tide’s global engineering team of over 700 professionals and help expand the company’s AI-driven business management platform for small and medium enterprises. He will work with Chief Product Officer Vinay Ramani to develop connected services across finance, administration, and related offerings such as insurance, savings, and transport payments.
