ThoughtSpot has elevated James Belsey to Field Chief Data and AI Officer. Belsey shared the news in a LinkedIn post. Belsey brings more than 25 years of experience in data and analytics, spanning business intelligence, data discovery, self-service visualization, and AI-assisted analytics.
Before taking on his new executive role, Belsey served as Director, Solutions Engineering, APJ at ThoughtSpot, where he led presales engagements across the region and built presales, customer success, and professional services functions.
Prior to his tenure at ThoughtSpot, Belsey served as Presales Director, ANZ at Qlik, where he built the presales team for Australia and New Zealand and contributed to business growth and team expansion in the region. Earlier, he held solutions engineering and architecture roles at SAP BusinessObjects, working on Business Intelligence solutions and large SAP projects.
