Kiran Vuppu, TD Bank U.S. Chief Information Officer
TD Bank has named Kiran Vuppu as its new U.S. Chief Information Officer, responsible for leading technology strategy, delivery, and transformation efforts across the bank’s U.S. businesses.
Vuppu brings more than two decades of technology and leadership experience in the financial services industry. He joins TD after over eight years at Wells Fargo, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Client Insights and Commercial Lending Product Management. Earlier in his career, he held technology leadership roles at J.P. Morgan and Bank of America, as well as technology management positions at IBM, HCL, and other firms.
In a LinkedIn post, TD Bank President and CEO Leo Salom said, “I am excited that Kiran Vuppu will be joining us today as the Bank’s U.S. Chief Information Officer after more than two decades of experience leading major initiatives in product transformation, technology modernization, GenAI, and other innovative technologies at some of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. Kiran will be a wonderful addition to the team as he leads technology strategy, delivery, and transformation efforts across our U.S. businesses. Vuppu also shared his enthusiasm for the role, writing on LinkedIn, “I’m excited to work with them to build on our momentum and propel forward TD’s technology transformation.”
