Sanford Health has named Mayil Dharmarajan Chief Data & AI Officer. Dharmarajan brings healthcare data and analytics experience spanning data governance, healthcare AI, cloud analytics, clinical quality, and research informatics.

Before joining Sanford Health, Dharmarajan served as Vice President of Data and Analytics at UCI Health. Before that, he was Head of Analytics & Data and Senior Director of Enterprise Data Management & Research Informatics at Keck Medicine of USC.

Earlier in his career, Dharmarajan served as Director of Enterprise Data Analytics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Director of Enterprise Datawarehouse, Clinical Analytics and Business Intelligence at City of Hope. He also held the role of Director of Data Management & Analytics Services at Carewise Health and was a Vice President at Deutsche Software.
