Rosaella Branson, Cook County Bureau of Technology Chief Data Officer
(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Rosaella Branson to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Branson is a seasoned data professional with over 15 years of expertise in data management, analysis, and reporting across various organizations. As Chief Data Officer at the Cook County Bureau of Technology, she oversees enterprise data management and analytics initiatives for the organization.
Branson has held several key leadership roles throughout her career. At Chicago Public Schools, she served as Manager of Data Science and Insights, directing internal analytic and research strategies and overseeing public data reporting for the CPS Central Office. She also led data governance initiatives at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and managed program evaluation and outcomes measurement for youth development at the YMCA of the USA National Office.
Additionally, as Data Operations Manager at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, she played a pivotal role in establishing processes and infrastructure for standardized national data collection and outcomes reporting to showcase the organization’s impact.
Branson earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University. Her dedication to community service includes over a decade of volunteering as a Troop Leader and Council Committee Member with the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, as well as mentoring youth and contributing to various leadership initiatives.
