(US and Canada) RingCentral has appointed Antonio Nucci as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, highlighting the company’s commitment to advancing AI-driven solutions in cloud communications.

In a company interview, Nucci expressed his focus on enhancing business communication through the use of agentic AI—technology that enables intelligent digital agents to support more natural and productive interactions. He emphasized that RingCentral is well-positioned to deliver a unified AI platform that drives efficiency, collaboration, and improved user experience. He also noted the importance of data preparedness, modern infrastructure, system interoperability, and workforce adaptation in successfully implementing AI across organizations.

Nucci brings more than two decades of experience in engineering, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology. Before joining RingCentral, he held leadership roles including Chief Technology Officer at Aisera and Cisco, as well as Vice President and Chief Data Scientist at Symantec. He also served in senior technical roles at Boeing, Narus, and Sprint.

Throughout his career, Nucci has contributed to national security initiatives and led numerous projects in R&D, customer engagement, and digital transformation. He holds nearly 100 patents, has authored over 100 research publications, and has co-written six books. He earned his Ph.D. in computer software engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
