Stuart Feld, Raymond James Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer
(US and Canada) Leading diversified financial services company Raymond James has promoted Stuart Feld to Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, a newly created role in which he will oversee enterprise-wide AI innovation. Feld, who joined the firm in 2018, previously served as Senior Vice President, Head of Front Office Technology. He has over 30 years of experience leading global technology teams at firms including JPMorgan, UBS, and Prudential Financial.
“Raymond James has long supported research and development into emerging technologies with a steadfast focus on continuously improving business efficiencies across the entire firm,” said CEO Paul Shoukry. “Stuart is well-equipped to provide the vision and leadership to build on our growing success in this space.”
The firm has implemented AI-driven advancements in cybersecurity, electronic communications review, and operational monitoring. Advisors use analytics in the Opportunities application to enhance client engagement and leverage machine learning in Advisor Access for predictive recommendations. Additionally, Raymond James is piloting a generative AI-powered intranet for timely information access.
“Under Stuart’s leadership, we have been applying innovative AI solutions to help advisors serve their clients and grow their practices,” said Vin Campagnoli, Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations.
Feld emphasized that AI at Raymond James is designed to support, not replace, human expertise. “Our philosophy is to augment, not replace, the human touch by reducing administrative workload and empowering associates and advisors to better serve their clients,” he said. “We are committed to an approach that drives enhanced service by improving processes by integrating AI into our core platforms.
