(US and Canada) Prince George’s Community College has recently appointed Lauralea Edwards as AVP, Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO). Edwards has a proven track record, specializing in humanizing data, developing key performance indicators, and integrating business and technology to make higher education affordable, accessible, and sustainable.

Before joining Prince George’s Community College, Edwards served as Assistant Vice President, Institutional Effectiveness at the State University of New York at Delhi. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education from Washington State University, enriching her approach to data strategy with a unique interdisciplinary perspective.

Edwards’ core competencies span a broad range of strategic skills, including strategic planning, process improvement, and change management. Proficient in data science and analytics, she informs decision-making and enhances organizational efficiency.
